Crossfit Level 1 Trainer
I was always into sports growing up as a kid. I loved to play basketball all day and night. I also played baseball, golf, and wrestled. When I was 12 I took up swimming and that became my main sport. After high school and college I fell in love with beach volleyball, which I am still passionate about today.
I first heard about Crossfit in 2008. A friend did CrossFit and told me his workouts were the best he’d ever experienced. When he told me to give Crossft a try, I literally said, “no way.” At the time I was really into the P90X/Insanity workouts. It got really boring….really fast. Fast forward four years, a second friend told me about Crossfit only this time I gave it a try. Right then and there I tossed the Beach Body workouts aside and Crossfit became my life. My first ever WOD: 11 rounds of 50lb. dumbbell burpee deadlifts and 200-meter runs. From that point on I never looked back, CrossFit was for me. It has helped me train for several mud races I have done and just recently introduced me to cycling.
